Stony Stratford Taster Day and Match – 4th June
DBE’s team and supporters received a very warm welcome from the officers and players of the Stony Stratford Club. Even though DBE couldn’t field a full team Stony were kind enough to lend some bowlers. Access for wheelchairs and people with a disability is excellent within the Club house and onto the green. Sandwiches were provided upon our arrival, followed by an excellent meal after the match.
Our two coaches Fran and Michael were kept busy with a group from Mencap that arrived for the taster session.
The match between Stoney Stratford and DBE was a light-hearted affair with our hosts running out winners 110-48. They enjoyed it so much we have been invited to return.
