On Sunday 20th June, 4 Pairs of Disability Bowls England players with a Learning Disability arrived at Stoke Bowling Club in Coventry to contest the inaugural Learning Disability Pairs Competition..
The competition was played as a Round Robin with each team playing 3 matches throughout the day. During the day there was some incredibly good bowling and some close matches, at the end of the 3 sessions there was clear winners, Chris Gray and Daniel Adams winning all 3 games. The other 3 teams all won 1 game. Gemma Broadhead and Georgia Tucker had the best shot difference so were declared the Runners up.
Val Hawkes, Stoke Bowling Club secretary presented the trophy to the worthy winners Chris & Daniel.
