Open Day, Sunday 29th May, 1pm to 5pm:

  • Hosted by Commonwealth Games team member, Gill Platt, with other qualified coaches. Beginners are welcome. Junior-sized bowls available and “Bowls Royce” electric wheelchairs. Come and have a go, you may be a champion bowler!
  • 200 free cream teas & cakes available from Ginger Bread Man Bakery.

Tea Party in The Park, Thursday 2nd June (Bank Holiday), 1pm to 8pm:

  • Free entry “Rookie Freeroll” bowls tourney for beginners only, with £500 cash prizes.
  • Free “Safer Archery” sessions and beginners competition on our croquet lawn.
  • Free professional Union Jack face painting from a professional make-up artist.
  • Another 200 free cream teas.
  • A free glass of Prosecco for all adults, to toast The Queen!

Join as a provisional member of Bowls England’s “Story of the Year” Club, on these 2 days only, for £10.
