In February of 2015, New Zealand are hosting the International Bowls for the Disabled World Championships at Lower Hutt, Wellington.
Member countries are invited to enter 2 bowlers, male and female in classifications B1 through to B8.
DBE have expressed a show of interest in entering a team.
The DBE member organisations will be invited to put forward names for consideration for selection. Selected bowlers will be informed by post.
Selected bowlers must be prepared to pay there own way as there is no funding available. Bowlers who are selected but cannot take their place in the team, the position will be offered to the next on the list.
All players must be aware that the event will be an outdoor, on grass.
Letters of support will be supplied to selected players wishing to seek sponsorship.
