EIBA National Finals Championships

DBE bowlers reach the Finals

Helen Wood, York IBC, will compete in the Ladies Triples Finals at Melton Mowbray on 27/28th March.

Pauline Shanley, Sutton IBC, will play in the Ladies 4’s at Melton Mowbray on 25/26th Match and then travel to Nottingham IBC on 10/11th April to compete in the Ladies O50 two wood triples.

Ann Trotman Singles Report

 

It was a good turnout over the weekend 11/12th March at Gedling IBC, Nottingham for the Ann Trotman Singles with 21 bowlers eventually taking part. Sadly 3 bowlers had had to pull out in the last few days not giving time for those on the waiting list to make travel and accommodation arrangements. I had to put a limit of 24 on the entries in order to make it a good tournament in the two days. Continue reading “Ann Trotman Singles Report”

International Squad 2017 Announced

Disability Bowls England have announced their International Squad for the Home Nations Championship.  The Championships are played at Newport Indoor Bowls Club over weekend of Friday 21st April to Sunday 23rd April.

The entry response to this first National Pairs event was exceptional, with the maximum of sixteen team places being filled within the first 3 weeks of the entry forms being sent out. The entry was open to all members of DBE irrelevant of disability.
